Any movie or book can most definitely not start out boring. If you were reading a book or watching a movie and the first couple of minutes were  boring, there is no way you would want to keep watching/reading A great set of movies I enjoy is the Saw series. Each of the four movies starts out incredible, with heart pounding, adrenaline pumping music and is eye catching as well. It makes you never want to leave; or at least that's how I felt. It starts out with two men chained to a wall trapped in an unknown place and a scary voice; it catches the audience's  attention right away.
I am usually not a fan of plays read in English, but Macbeth has already caught my eye in the first act. Its use of irony is mostly what helped grab my attention. Right away, Macbeth is told he will be the Thane of Cawdor. He then devises a plan with his wife Lady Macbeth, a truly evil character, to kill King Duncan for the throne. An ironic part is how King Duncan admires Macbeth so much, while Macbeth wants to assassinate him for the throne. Ironically, Duncan's son, Malcolm, was recently named the heir to the throne, which puts Macbeth in even a bigger debacle.
